Betelnuts drying in the sun on a terrace. Tall coconut and betelnut trees form a green backdrop for a typical konkani house at Keshavraj. Konkan, Maharashtra.
India. The camera loves her. Her vibrant, colourful nature spills over into every pixel. I enjoy clicking photographs as I travel along her gurgling rivers and lofty blue mountains and dusty potholed roads. I adore her villages where food is still cooked on mud stoves. And I love her towns where the twinkling lights of high rises compete with the stars. She is a paradox. Modern and old-fashioned. Arid in places, lush green in others. But never boring. This is my India. The way I see her. In Pixels.
